I'm looking at buying a 7130 combine that has a pro700 for yield monitoring (version 30-something).
It comes up with a "manual moisture" warning (see picture). I tried to set it to auto moisture, but the display didn't seem to accept "auto" and the warning didn't go away.
What's wrong? Does it just need to be calibrated or is the a sign of a more complicated problem?
Thanks!
Newer software will show the manual moisture value until there is a valid reading from the moisture sensor. So it's normal to see the Manual Moisture icon when the machine is empty or just starting to fill with crop. Once the system detects a valid signal from the moisture sensor, it should use that signal and show you the crop moisture (if it's set to Auto. If it's set to Manual, it will always show you the Manual moisture, even if the sensor is working properly.) |
