If you put in opportunity costs he could be right. If you look at the budgets the universities put out it doesn't sound that far off. I'm not saying we all use that number but you can make the numbers say a lot of different things.

300 in rent, 100 in seed 100 in fertilizers maybe you can squeeze chems in there if you add a little more. there's an easy 500 in some operations. Don't jump on me about cheaper seed or fertilizer please, that just seems to be a ballpark # people throw around.

Mags talk about how important it was last winter to get under 100 on seed, I was like woah.
