Subject: Corn for silage value?

Michigan
I have 2 farms that are planted into corn. Both fields have sand/gravel through the mid section, with heavy clay on each end. ( about 150 acres total,50 acres of light ground)
It was very dry here during tassel and the corn on the light soil did not form a cob, the heavy ground survived and seems to have normal cob set.
I'd like to possible offer these acres to large cattle or dairy setups in the area, what's a ton of corn silage worth? Or will I make out better with crop insurance@ 70% garentees?
