The deflation meme is the safest for financial gurus. Much easier to appear in the meantime to be correct. Extrapolating the current into the future. Maintaining the status quo.
If the velocity switch gets flipped, it will cause the maximum pain because so few will be prepared. One more reason to be likely. The 'knowns' rarely are the problem. People anticipate those. It will be the unknown that will cause maximum pain.
