| Re-reading your original post, I wonder if it is at all possible your problem child is connected to both the wireless router and to quote you "hard wired to the DSL" router at the exact same time?
Some may try this to in effect double their internet speed, however things get all confused. Your log-ins may go out on the wireless, but respond quicker on the DSL, thus confusing the heck out of your firewall as well as the browser.
VERIFY you are only connecting to the internet with one ISP - not both. If the issue continues, then
MAYBE, try to TEMPORARILY disable your firewall on your problem computer temporarily.
