What version of Thunderbird do you have and how did you get the spell checker to work?  I was under the impression that my version was the latest.  I've tried to add in the spell checker but without any success.  Reading on the net it appears others have had the same experience as me.

I'd like to just keep Thunderbird but either way, nothing seems to transfer. That is clicking on an email address for information in a webpage doesn't show up in the message to and sending a file doesn't put the link in the message box.
