You might try the Alka-Seltzer Heartburn Relief Chews. If the Prevacid/Zantac don't 'hold' the acid reflux, the chews will shut it off. If I have heartburn when I go to bed at nite, go get one or two and by the time I get back to bed, the pain and discomfort is gone. They're sure worth a try. They aren't chalky or gritty, are sorta fruit flavored and aren't hateful to consume at all.
