Dearfield Co.
trying to control it with diet seldom works. My recommendation is allupurinal like stated AFTER this attack goes away. To start I would ask for a prescription for indomethacin which is a non steroidal anti inflammatory drug. To start ask for 5 regular release pills that will be green in color , then ask for a prescription for indomethacin SR(slow release ) to get the allupurinal in your system to lower the uric acid with out triggering another attack. After 30 days start cutting back on the indomethacin to every other day then every 3 days then off of it and see how you get by. Drink lots of water to prevent stones and lay off the beer and innards of animals and get your sed rate and uric aside level checked every 6 months to see if your dosage of allupurinal can be adjusted
