Subject: Value added cattle- hormone free

Eastern NE
I just read an article on a feed yard sells hormone free beef to Tyson in Lexington. I did some other research and I found that Greater Omaha has a program for cattle not treated with hormones as well. I'm sure there's other packers with similar programs. I'm just curious as to whether anybody has done this, and if so, what is their criteria and what kind of premiums are associated with it? Or is it more of a headache than anything? Thank you!
