Was out flying last night, lost signal from the FPV and could not locate the drone in the sky, had about 60-70% battery left when this happened, maybe 3/8th mile away. I was on a hill, which is one of the highest points in the county. Drone was well above any trees.

Is there any tricks to finding this thing or am I SOL? Could really careless about the drone itself, but I really want my GoPro back... 

Guess we'll just have to wait for it to go through the combine this fall?
