N FLA | We were DINKs back then (double income no kids) living in $500 apartments.
Now we have 4 houses and one income earner. The FL real estate market has really changed me, much like people talk about living through the 80s, i someday will talk about coming out the other side of the FL real estate crash and the toll it took on our life and relationships. I feel like the rug was pulled out from under me as well. Some people give up, others buckle down.
It still isn't justification, as you are exactly right that is how she feels. I suspect I'm a decade ahead of many, as farmers will struggle much like I have to pay debts the last decade. And will make decisions what is more important use of time. Farmers may not be able to work their way out if the numbers are insurmountable, and some will just choose to walk away. I've already seen it here. | |
