| i'm trying to work on some remote monitoring of several places.
I've found that ambient weather now has a more economical "reporting" weather station, with rain, temp, wind, etc for $99.
since it outputs via a eithernet cable, we'll have to plug that into a router. our internet connection will be an AT&T mobile
hot spot, with 2 g data a month for $25.
my problem is, I want a simple IP camera that I can point tward a cattle tank. I want it to take 1 picture per day, at
a certain time, so I can see if there is water in the tank or not. if so will need to go check it out.
the camera would need to be outdoor, and would like to have it wireless, and either connect to the router that the wx station
is connected to, or it can connect direct to the mifi
nobody can tell me if an ip camera will work in that mannor.....nor what brand nor model.
most do streaming, etc....but that would eat up data.
just simple....it would take a picture at say 9 am, and email me that picture so I can see if I need to check the well & pump.
thank you | |
