| I tell my guys to take a handful and squeeze it. If it balls up and stays it's too wet to rake. If it crunches down its too dry. When moisture is right it will feel spongy. Works here but need a good hot dry day to dry those bottoms out. I never like to leave raked overnight. Seems to just make the problem worse Windrow settles down and moisture accumulates in windrow from dew overnight | |
