West Central Indiana
i would concur with all you guys. I had never heard a bad word about the YieldSense system until now, and I can't see the chain just breaking and taking all the stuff out that they are telling me it took out. And I've been to the forgot to fold the fountain auger up meeting before. We had a 70 series combine a few years ago that we forgot to fold up the fountain auger on. It did just what you're saying...piled up corn on both sides of the chain then broke the chain. We rolled out the old chain, rolled a new one in, put a new belt on and we're on our way...not a huge disaster. Worst part was the pile of corn it puked out underneath it. The cross auger being too heavy sounds more realistic to me. Thanks for sharing!
