At one time this theory was probably a good one but with denser populated areas being almost every where I sure have changed my attitude on them--------couple that with the fact a bull snake shakes its tail and pretends to rattle as a survival skill while a rattlesnake just strikes with no warning at least in my area they will die If I can muster it. Years back the state of KS put some sort of little tracker device on a large snake they found and its radius was rather large
