SC KS | My neck of ks we get 28", light soils, and we are part of the hottest part of ks. Middle southern 5-6 countis get hot and stay hot night and day. However there is a mix of opinions....
Disc, chisel, fallow master + nh3, field cultivate, plant back to wheat up to 3 years.
Burn, plow/disc, fallow master + nh3, fc back to wheat up to 20 years.
Wheat, chem fallow (harder now), spring crop
Wheat, dc bean/milo/corn, full season spring crop, dc wheat
We do a Lil of everything here. Just depends on soil mostly | |
