Marion, Ohio | If a monster crop comes to fruition in Iowa, Illinois and Minni, will the farmers there take it in the rear twice? A low price on the board is one thing but having piles and piles of corn to go along with it is another. Is there enough demand to keep the basis from getting too wide and making cash corn pathetic? It looks like we have the potential locally to end up with a positive basis after harvest but yields are gonna suffer. | |
