Most of us who use RTK or other high accuracy signal can go back later with the same planter and the same line split the middle of a corn plant 6" high with the counters on the planter. It's plenty accurate enough I think. At least here it is.

Toolbar sway and soil conditions are the factors I see affecting accuracy. I doubt it could ever be perfect, but those that run high accuracy are plenty happy... from what I have seen and read here.

In our area, RTX (fs) is darn near as accurate as full blown VRS or RTK. But that seems true for only certain areas of the corn belt. That is what I was told by my dealer.
