I'm pretty fond of my local HyVee.....have been for a lot of years. That said, I won't buy meat from their meat counter, at least as long as we have a Fareway in town. HyVee meat always has that dried out, off-color, variations in color that look funky....I'm just not comfortable with that appearance when I know how much better the meat at Fareway is.
