NE South Dakota Clark, SD | Leica had some major issues with MojoRTK bases not tracking Sats this spring. This one worked so I did not update the GPS engine this spring. As a precaution, I updated it at the same time I moved the 262 to the combine. I did not try it on the quad. I guess my reasoning for rolling the software back is that is the only change that has been made. The radio is a Digi 900 to match the one in the base. I did double check the baud rates and they have not changed.
You would think that if I have 99% CMR quality that it should lock onto RTK. He was only getting 60-70% CMR so I asked where the base was at. He had it set up out of the way about 20 feet into a tree strip. I moved it to the top of the biggest hill on that that farm and got 99% right away. I informed him how important it was to get the base out in the open. Time will tell if that sinks in. |
