How well will a integra run a krone flow meter on a houle tank. Can I run the Raven 660 in parallel to it. I need to keep a log of each loads gallons which is easy with the Raven . But the integra can monitor the location hauled from each pit. Any thoughts on this.

The Integra could be used in this situation in at least two ways 1) keep using the Raven 660 for control and use the Integra with the Ag Leader Application Rate Module. The App Rate module can be connected via a special serial cable (available from Ag Leader) to the Raven 660 if it is new enough that it has the 9 pin computer type connector on the back or 2) remove the Raven 660 and use Ag Leader's Liquid Product Control module with an Auxiliary CAN switch box. Each method would require some wiring harnesses.

With choice 1) the Raven would control or monitor the manure as you are currently doing but it communicates what it is doing back to the Integra where the Integra can make various maps and do other bookkeeping type chores. The Ag Leader could be used to send VR rates to the Raven as well if any attempt at VR is being done. The downside to this arrangement is cab clutter (more boxes in the cab) and no auto swath or section control which is probably not a huge issue with manure.

With choice 2) the Raven is removed and the Liquid Product Control module would do it all.

I think I would tend to go with choice 1) if you are happy and comfortable with the Raven 660. With this combination, the Integra could be removed and used elsewhere and the manure application could continue as you are presently doing it. If you have no other use for the Integra this is a minor point. This route would be somewhat cheaper since there are less "pieces" involved.

If the Raven 660 does not have the serial connector on it, there is another method that could be used. This is along your idea of connecting in parallel. With this arrangement, the flow meter cable that currently goes to the Raven 660 could have a Tee in it so this information goes to the Application Rate module. The meter cal etc is entered into the Integra and it would compute the applied rate on its own for record keeping and mapping purposes. The 660 would continue to behave as it currently does. This would probably be fine for this situation as well.

This would be very similar to the way I use the Application Rate module with my corn planter. I have a ground driven pump for starter fertilizer with a flow meter in line. The flow meter provides the flow information to the App Rate Module so that it can be displayed on my Integra. It doesn't control the rate but allows me to observe it, make maps, show totals etc.
