Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | The settings that need to be set correctly are in the EZ-Guide 500. I forget the menu screens exactly but you need to turn ON the external GPS port and set the output for 4800 BAUD, 8, N, 1 with NEMA strings GGA and VTG ON with all others off.
The message that you were seeing doesn't pertain to you. Ag Leader had a GPS dumb box that had no buttons or controls on it. It is thinking that you want to try to connect to it. I would wait until you get the correct cable and attach it between the 500 and the Advantage harness.
