I think back when I was young the level for a drunk driving arrest was around 13-.15 before you were charged. Now it is .08 for most and .04 for cdls. I know of a couple women who had minor fender benders after 2 drinks on a Friday after work that were over the limit,but would have been perfectly legal years ago.

A relative had to get sr-22 insurance,to get his license back.He never did get a straight answer what it was for,,it seems that the state and insurance companies can call someone high risk when they never had an accident, and then make up fees and special endorsements and line their pockets.

There are many times people are charged with something they are completely innocent of,,but I have never heard a cop or county attorney offer to pay their lawyer fees.
