Western Illinois | We have around 15 acres where a oil pipeline is currently going through us and the hope is that they will be done and have all soil leveled up by the end of July or worse case end of august I hope! I am looking for opinions on what would be be the best cover to put on this once they are done to help start building the soil tilth back up. Once they are done there will be quite a bit of fertilizer put back on and worked in as well. I am leaning towards either cereal rye or annual rye at this time. This area will be going to corn next year and will be worked before planting. Thanks! | |
