| If the beer was in a closed cooler, it was not in plain sight.
Is just having a cooler suspicious? Do you think a cop can search any cooler just because it's a cooler? Coolers are used for many things other than beer.
Simply having a cooler in a vehicle comes nowhere close to probable cause for a search. Now if there were empties laying around that's a different story.
They will win in court - the issue is, is it worth it to spend the money on the lawyer? | |
