Subject: Picture-Despite The Weather The Corn Looks Good

WCMO-SWMO Area

This was taken yesterday of a field that I farmed before I retired....Its been a hot and dry June in parts of western MO....Every day the temperature has been from 91-101 degrees which is well over normal....Its taken 6 rains to get a little less than 2 inches of moisture..We were lucky to go in to June wet..I'm in an area where the corn needs to be made by July 4th..

It appears to have pollinated good and is filling to the end...If we can get a good rain soon this should make a good yield..The no-till corn is 2 weeks behind but is finally looking much better..The 7 day forecast looks great for rain and temperature..
