We are dry here as well, had 1.5 inches about 10 days ago, but none for about 15 before that. Things aren't hurting bad but there is none in reserve. There was a lot of urea spread on corn last week here with 2 days that had 50% chance of rain but it didn't come.
I was a little worried about my loss for the week - took the kids to a little town festival Friday night - rides, food, and the Kentucky Headhunters were playing. One thing that I have noticed though over the past couple of weeks, just by lowering my portions I get full faster and now don't feel as hungry as much.
Im at 201 today, not too bad after one night of festival food.
Good luck with then knee, hope it doesn't keep you in the house too long, always so much to do this time of the year. | |
