| Your power setup is different than how I normally do it, but if it's been working on other stuff, it should work here too. I normally hook most everything straight to the battery. Can't see (but I'm no mechanic either) how your setup would be cause any grief. If the alternator wasn't able to keep up I believe you would notice that with other electrical system/dead batteries etc.
What else is different when you're on the disc drill? Is there a change in your normal operating speed compared to the speed you disc at?
Most EZ-Steer systems are calibrated to run in speed ranges. So for the guys in my territory, we'll have one calibration for seeding (4-6mph) and another for harrowing, about 10mph. One calibration can be used for both, but it tends to not perform as well as having a set of numbers for each condition.
