MOA means "minute of angle" or when used for long distance shooting it is a drop of
1" per 100 yds.

That is why when you site a rifle scope in, you may want to shoot at a target at 100 yds.

If you often shoot at a deer at 200 yds. you should site your rifle in at 2" above the bullseye.
That means you will be dead on at 200 yds.
