Subject: What to plant for cover on prevent ground?

Holland, Indiana (SW IN)
Lucky to get most of our land planted- but have some in prevent- rolling land had thin wheat cover killed with Roundup, Instigate, and 1# atrazine probably most chemicals gone been sprayed for at least 75 days weeds are starting to come through. We will spray it next with Roundup and some 24D to kill back the weeds.

Know we can't plant a crop for harvest thinking about trying some type of CC to help with erosion etc -the dead CC wheat is starting to not be much left.

Any ideas what to use would just like to throw seed out and at most use a Phenoix rolling scratcher to put it in ground if it don't work out can always plant thin CC wheat or what ever this fall
Since I know it is hit and miss to establish a CC in the summer cant be a very expensive seeding -Rape? Don't know much about it or wheat? would be cheap we usually throw out 30#

Area SW Indiana -Any help appreciated -Dan
