West Central IL | Living in the old home place, I knew there was some old boxes of stuff up there. Found text books from my grandpa and siblings from when they were in school, also found tax returns and receipts half way organized in old shoe boxes from as far back as the 1940's from my great grandpa and great grandma. Found a box of cards that was sent over the years to my great grandma. I stumbled across a couple dozen receipts from a large hospital, not local, and quite a few receipts from a local pharmacy. They were dated mid 1956 with great grandpa's name on them. He passed away late 1957. I've got about 5 boxes more to go through when I get time. | |
