Treynor IA | We got our first TV in 52 when I was 8. I remember the sets back then. The newscaster sat behind a plain office desk with a mic on it. The weather man had an easel with a flannel board on it and a pointer in his hand. I think he was more accurate than the weather men now. I don't think there were any programs over a half hour long. Some of the soaps were 15 minutes long. | |
