| Here if some one builds a house they think they control everything in site. I had a neighbor to be get mad because I did not want their well in my field. ( they didn't want to give up the land to put it on their own property). Then they were mad because I told them no water line across me from the land on the other side of me. Then they were mad because I would not let them take my topsoil for their yard. They did want to taper the grade even with their yard. Unfortunately it would have taken out a terrace and 80 years of fill. They ended up cutting the fence and putting the well in the fence row. Last year they thought I should give them a place to put their kids calves. It never ends.
Another neighbor actually told me I should not farm within 1/8 mile ( line of site) of their house. Of course the land they built on was in a field next to a field I was farming at the time. | |
