| +1 for the clean install, after the clean install and fully updating I would download macrium reflect free and create a full system image, place it in a folder accompanied with a notepad file explaining the image state, then reinstall all programs and repeat this process, I know this approach requires a lot of backup storage but it leaves you with a backup you can go back to should things go wrong in the future. You can create as many as you want going into the future and delete old ones, but I would suggest to never delete the one with the clean install on it. | |
