I like my Surface 3. I'm sure the Pro is great. The way you describe it you may want to make sure you get one with a cellular plan as most are wifi only.
I got the Surface 3 with the larger Ram. I use a flash card for my files. Since I don't have anything but wifi, I copy my files back and forth with that card and then I've got all I want remotely.
