If yhe tree causes problems w loop or geo .... You got bigger problems. Plant the tree .... it will not be an issue. If you need to replace main line or loops, it'll likely be directional bored .....

EDIT: just to put your mind at ease . . . . .. it is very, very common to directional bore the feeder lines and the exchange lines in woods and heavily tree'd areas around Minnesota here. Very common among the lakes and forests.
