I've seen graders in use maintaining beaches and they always look like hell. I always hoped they didn't start them on the beach when they were new. Thick rust everywhere paint is gone but zinc bolts, nuts and lines severely corroded. Never have seen a new machine actually in the water but also usually less than ten years old. I would say it is their last job, from there it's to a scrap yard.
