I have never side dressed before, and i am not a good straight driver. Looking at sidedressing some this year. It will be a 16row 30inch bar. What tips do you have for a beginner? Speed? Or how to keep off rows?
What I use here is a 11 knife NH3 bar that the outside rows have 2 hoses going to to them and they have 1 1/2 rate going to each outside knife so I stay on my planter tracks and not worry if I planted a little close. It makes things alot easier to not cut out corn. |
