I bought a cub cadet branded cordless trimmer last year for the daughter who could never seem to get the gas one started. Lol. it has 2 batteries and seems adequate for yard use. It takes both batteries for her to do "most" of the yard. It also came with a blower which is nice to clean off the walks and driveway afterwards. Around $300??
