Subject: RE: Indy 500 tomorrow, anyone going?

The rapidly vanishing farmland of Boone Co. Ind.
Starting when I was 8 went to 31 races in a row. My dad was a bigwig for the title sponsor. Met Mario when I was 9. You could say I enjoy it, even owned a small house a block and a half from the track for 10 years. I don't see what's not to like, the largest sporting event in the world, cars and drivers doing in excess of 200 MPH inches from each other, I could go on and on. I haven't attended in a few years, just don't have the drive to battle the crowd. However, where I am is the holding pattern for whatever military hardware they are going to use for the flyover so it's picnic table and a radio for me if I'm not putting up hay. The start of the Indianapolis 500 is one of my top two coolest things in the U.S.A. On a side note, I've done a lot of traveling and no matter what language they speak, when they find out I'm from Indiana, they know what the 500 is.
