| Today I was having an issue with a Cruizer freezing up that I am using for guidance and for speed input for my planter population monitor.
When the first Cruizer stopped working I swapped with another one I have which worked but the speed it was out putting to the population monitor was too slow. Comparing the speed reading on the Cruizer to my tractor it was pretty much dead on. However the speed that was reading on the population monitor was anywhere between .7 to 1.0 mph slower than the actual speed I was traveling.
The first Cruizer has been working flawlessly but this other one will not send out the appropriate speed. Baud rates are the same in both and I can not tell any differences in the setup between the two.
I was able to get the first unit back on and continued planting however I expect it to lock up again and I would like to have the other as a backup but the speed issue needs to be addressed.
Any ideas what the issue could be?
