Mine grow every year... always have to keep a bunch(or at least the wrong ones) on hand. The nozzle diaphragms don't seem to ever change. But the strainer o rings are certain to grow.
LOL, I had the same problem, strainer cup ring had swollen far to large to ever fit back in there. I flipped the swollen one over my shoulder and went to a spare new strainer to steal the ring out of it. 2 years later the new seal ring was swollen far to large to fit back in there, and I had forgotten to replace the spare ring I swiped from the new strainer. About then I noticed the old ring I had tossed over my shoulder 2 years earlier. I wiped the dirt off of it and noticed it looked good again. 2 years in the dirt, sun, rain had absorbed / leached out all the herbicide / surfactant ?? that had it swollen it. It was in good condition so it went back in the strainer, worked perfect. You can recycle them if you store the used ones out in the weather for a couple years. ;-) |
