you said eight years into it. Depends on how you look at it. I look at it from the perspective of how are my kids and grandkids going to fare. The economy of 1936 sucked, but one of the biggest booms in history was about to get started, giving everybody who wanted to work a good paying living wage. Contrast that to today, where the current economy may not be as tough on people because of our support system, but if we were forced to come to grips with our crippling debt tommorow, in other words, our notes were called due and payable, which in turn would suspend all the support system, where do you think we'd be? The difference is we didn't have a phony system in place in '36. We do today, and it provides the illusion things are ok. It obviously has you convinced things are O.K.
