Central Saskatchewan Canada | We had snow here a couple weeks ago and the cows and calves stayed in the bush for a day and a half while the storm moved thru. The cows never came out to eat there silage during the snow and rain storm. When it all ended they were very hungry. A day after the storm the calved had crap like white rice.
I don't think the cows milked very well when the weren't eating then milked real good when they filled up on silage. The calved cleared up after a few days to a week.
But we did have to treat 10 or 15 for pneumonia.
That's probly what got your calf. |
