Most often a reaction to a clostridial vaccine. Usually we have about 1/100 feedlot cattle do it. Its pretty harmless I wouldn't worry too much unless you've got a bunch then maybe it's a sanitation problem but whatever you do don't try and sterilize your needles - that'll kill your vaccines
