My wife has fibro and had her 1st replacement in '05 and the other in '08, she had a lot of pain with the therapy, but was diligent and did it properly and has been happy with them. When the surgeon came out to talk to me after each surgery she said that Dianna's knees were like an 80 year old lady, bone on bone, no cartilage left.
She turned 65 today, so she was 54 when the first one was done.
