Ron, let us know what software of yours will not run in Windows 10, if any.
As I see it, that is the big problem -- and the reason that installing Win10 without user permission is completely unacceptable.
For now, I have automatic updates disabled on this Windows 7 machine. Even the "Download but ask before installing" option will install updates when you reboot...another aggravation.
