South East Illinois | Panhaas with molasses poured on it, is how we ate it.
Mom knew how to stretch the food budget.
We were setting around on day talking about what Mom cooked when we were kids. Some of us thought she something because we liked it and others thought it was because it was all they could afford at the time.
On thing for sure was we never went hungry.
