Sounds like a load of crap but it could be correct. Our metabolism is going to change anyway, we just have to deal with it.
If we aren't going to change our lifestyle and eating habits after we lose weight we WILL gain it all back!!
I've been there and lots of us have.
The calories I was consuming 16 months ago could have taken me to 400 lbs.
Metabolism or not the best line of Von's is "you can't outrun your fork"
I'm sorry to say that in my lifetime I've had to diet more than once, so in essence I've started over as well. But this time will be the last. I use to diet for 3-6 months then be happy enough and then slowly go back to overeating again.
Now it's 16 months and I find it easier to stay in control and with Deb and this weigh-in group it's so much nicer to listen or talk about what's going on, see others progress or ideas, plus it's incentive for me to keep in check.
If it was easy the world would be skinny and I'd own a potato chip factory.
Sorry for being long winded.

Happy Mother's Day to all the ladies, we are just over half done seeding so I've spent many hours in the tractor cab this week and we may get rain Tuesday. Lots of smoke some days with the Fort McMurray fire but it could be worse.
225 this morning, another 2 lbs gone
Best of luck all
