Heart of Illinois | I have a GE front load washer that we bought back in 2009. I just took it apart to fix what sounded like worn out bearings. The bearings were shot, but so was the aluminum "spider" on the back of the stainless wash tub - all one ($300+) part. Piece of junk. As much as it goes against my nature, I think it's time to replace it. Anyone have a washing machine they really like and would reccomend? I thought I wanted a frontloader so I could stack it and save space but I'm not married to that idea if all frontloaders don't last more than 6-7 years. | |
